Our client is seeking an Acumatica ERP Architect/Product Owner for an excellent remote position located near a major airport, ideally within the Southeastern or Mid-Western U.S., but any U.S. location considered. Position hours are on Eastern time.
• Own Acumatica strategy, roadmap, and backlog as product owner and architect
• Lead architecture and design for manufacturing, supply chain, MRP, project accounting, shop floor, and field service expansion
• Enforce platform governance, native-first design, and full customization lifecycle management
• Configure roles, permissions, workflows, inquiries, dashboards, and business event automations. Hands-on with admin, data, and support tasks
• Lead master data foundation for items, BOMs, routings, capacity, costs, and lead times
• Design and manage integrations with CAD, payroll, and enterprise systems
• Partner with operations, manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and finance on requirements and improvements
• Develop BRDs, process maps, and functional specs to guide implementation partners
• Act as escalation point for technical issues; ensure data quality, security, compliance, and adoption
• Monitor releases, adopt native MRP/production/project capabilities, and maintain certifications
Qualifications & Experience
• 8+ years ERP administration, configuration, and implementation experience
• 5+ years Acumatica experience, including implementation
• Expertise in Manufacturing Edition (BOM, production, MRP, engineering change control, estimating), distribution, and project accounting
• Strong command of data model, generic inquiries, dashboards, business events, workflows, and customization framework
• Experience developing BRDs and translating business needs into functional specifications
• Skilled at managing vendors and consultants with constructive challenge
• Strong judgment on configure vs. customize with consistent native-first preference
• Effective written and verbal communication and facilitation from shop floor to executives
• Organizational skills to manage multi-quarter implementation priorities
• Experience with administration, data, and support;
• Industrial equipment or long-cycle manufacturing experience a plus
• Ability to travel up to 25%
