Job Overview As a Temporary Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing advanced data entry skills to support the UT Works Lock and Key Services Key Module Project. This is a temporary position with a duration of 12 months, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work remotely. You will be responsible for collecting, coding, inputting, and retrieving information using data entry functions, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information. Key Responsibilities Collect, code, input, and retrieve information using data entry functions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Enter data from keying worksheets into Excel spreadsheets in preparation for transferring lock information into the UTWorks Key module Program, maintaining data integrity and consistency. Evaluate and verify notes and reports for correctness and accuracy before entering information into Excel spreadsheets, ensuring data quality and reliability. Maintain confidential records and files, ensuring security and confidentiality of sensitive information, and adhering to blithequark's data protection policies. Confer with other department personnel as needed on data entry matters, providing support and guidance to ensure seamless project execution. Represent Lock & Key Services on special projects, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and promoting a positive image of blithequark. Compose routine correspondence and perform related duties as required, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: High school graduation or GED, demonstrating a foundation in basic education and skills. Three years of experience in an office environment, providing a solid understanding of administrative procedures and practices. Two years of above-average experience with data entry, demonstrating a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Two years of intermediate experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, showcasing proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent telephone and email etiquette, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and promoting a positive image of blithequark. Current Class "C" Texas Operator Driver License required, demonstrating compliance with regulatory requirements. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Associate's degree or higher in business administration or a similar field, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills in administration and management. More than three years of broad-based experience in an office environment, providing a deeper understanding of administrative procedures and practices. Two or more years of above-average experience with data entry, demonstrating a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. More than two years of experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, showcasing advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with direct customer service, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a customer-centric approach.
