Job Summary As aSenior Data Engineer at bolthires, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and products that enable real-time enterprise analytics, data exploration, and data preparation.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, develop solutions, and implement data-driven strategies that drive business growth and improvement. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and products that enable real-time enterprise analytics, data exploration, and data preparation. Demonstrate deep knowledge of the data engineering field, including non-interactive (batch, distributed) and real-time, highly available data, and data pipelines.Develop and optimize data products to provide client personas, Data Science, AI/ML, and data visualization. Apply knowledge of semantic data concepts to design and implement data products. Build fault-tolerant, self-healing, adaptive, and highly accurate data computational pipelines. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and stakeholders. Develop and maintain documentation related to all assigned systems and projects. Perform root cause analysis to identify permanent resolutions to software or business process issues.Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 7-10 years of experience in architecting and designing large-scale high-performance distributed systems. 7-10 years of experience in SQL Platform. 3+ years of experience in No-SQL Platform. 3+ years of experience in Spark. 3+ years of experience in data platform implementation on Azure or AWS. 2+ years of experience in bolthires/CD. Exposure to SOA architecture. Technical Skills Strong/professional Spark (PySpark) using Jupyter Notebooks, Colab, or DataBricks.Hands-on experience with data pipeline development, ingest models in Azure. Orchestration tools, ADF, or Airflow. SQL. Denormalized data modeling for large data structures. Must-Have Competencies Collaborative, able to work remotely, and still be an engaging team member. Strong analytical and design skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
