As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with a schedule that includes Saturdays and Sundays. Key Responsibilities Receive, investigate, and respond to member inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, resolving problems and complaints with empathy and professionalism.Answer and track telephone calls within established department standards, ensuring concise and factual documentation. Develop a deep understanding of our lines of business benefits, medical management processes, demographic change processes, and procedures for changing Primary Care Physicians (PCP). Respond to "entry-level" claims inquiries, take "Over the Counter" (OTC) orders for products and diabetic supplies, and process enrollment and disenrollment procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, and work effectively as a team contributor.Customer Service Excellence As a Seasonal Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for driving our culture through values and customer service standards. You will be accountable for delivering outstanding customer service to all external and internal contacts, developing positive relationships through effective and timely communication, and taking initiative to respond, resolve, and follow up on customer service issues. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Minimum of six months to one year of related experience in customer service or a similar field. Ability to read and interpret documents, calculate figures and amounts, and manage customer questions and issues with professionalism and empathy. Strong typing skills (40-60WPM) and excellent oral and written communication skills, including good grammar, voice, and diction. Proficient in MS Office, including basic computer and keyboarding skills, and able to toggle between different systems to gather information and provide updates.Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a healthcare or insurance-related field. Knowledge of core administrative processing systems (CAPS), business process as a service (BPaaS), and business process outsourcing (BPO) capabilities. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and database management systems. Certifications or training in customer service, communication, or a related field. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, including a friendly, courteous, and helpful demeanor.You should be self-driven, with a positive outlook, and able to demonstrate confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
