As a Remote Online Chat Specialist, you will be an integral part of our customer service team, working closely with our clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Responsibilities As a Remote Online Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns in a timely and professional manner * Evaluating customer interactions and escalating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary * Building relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs * Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately * Promoting interest in client products and services through effective communication and relationship-building * Consistently achieving established standards of the position, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction metrics * Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image through all interactions * Providing administrative support to the customer service team as needed * Assisting with overflow work and other duties as required * Collaborating with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements Qualifications To be successful as a Remote Online Chat Specialist, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * Experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or online environment * Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills * Familiarity with CRM tools and software * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment * Ability to adapt to different personalities and communication styles * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial: * Experience working in a similar role or industry * Familiarity with online chat platforms and software * Certification in customer service or a related field * Experience working in a remote or online environment * Strong knowledge of CRM tools and software Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Remote Online Chat Specialist, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to adapt to different personalities and communication styles * Strong customer service skills, including empathy, patience, and professionalism Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
