Transcribes source data into the required electronic format, utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software. Transfers information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency. Performs high-volume data entry, utilizing strong typing skills and attention to detail to ensure error-free data entry.Verifies the integrity of data by comparing it to source documents, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors. Reviews data for errors, missing pages, or missing information, taking corrective action to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Maintains a filing system, protecting confidential customer information and ensuring compliance with data protection policies. Performs regular backups to ensure data preservation, minimizing the risk of data loss or corruption. Responds to requests to retrieve data from the database or electronic filing system, providing timely and accurate information to support business decisions.Uses basic office equipment, such as photocopy machines and facsimile machines, to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per department standards, continually striving for improvement and excellence. Experience with MS Office and data programs, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Familiarity with administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping. Experience using office equipment, such as fax machines and scanners, to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.Typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to meet productivity standards and deadlines.
