As a Data Entry Associate, you will be responsible for processing all incoming healthcare claim forms sent by our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to digitize these claims in a form provided by blithequark, ensuring high accuracy and meeting the expected keystrokes per hour or words per minute established by the company. This is a remote position, and you will be required to work from home, following a set schedule and meeting deadlines.Key Responsibilities Capture and validate complex data with high accuracy Classify images and documents according to established procedures Pre-adjudicate documents and correct data as required Verify data from automated data extraction tools Complete assignments using multiple source documents to verify data or use additional information to complete the work Work within established procedures and practices, with a close degree of supervision Meet productivity and quality standards, with a focus on continuous improvement Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Must be able to type at least 40+ words per minute (WPM) with a high level of accuracy 10-key proficiency is required Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and internet research Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines while performing functions with a high accuracy rate Must pass an internet speed test (download of at least 25, upload of minimum 5, and ping ms equal to or less than 175) Connect must be via Ethernet cable to a router; Wi-Fi is not acceptable Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing is preferred Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be at least 18 years of age or older Must be eligible to work in the United States Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background checks and/or drug screenings Must live in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MS, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in data entry or a related field Experience working in a remote or home-based environment Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong typing skills, with high accuracy and speed Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and internet research Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our associates with opportunities for career growth and development.As aRemote Data Entry Associate, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in data entry and healthcare claims processing.
