We believe that by working together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our members and the healthcare professionals who serve them.About the PositionThe Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative plays a vital role in our organization, serving as the primary point of contact for providers who have questions or concerns about benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits (EOB), and behavioral health. As a representative, you will be responsible for responding to inquiries through phone calls or concurrent chat, providing timely and effective resolutions to issues, and advocating for providers in a multi-channel environment.This is a full-time, remote opportunity that offers a challenging and rewarding experience, with clear direction for success and opportunities for professional development. Key Responsibilities Serve as the advocate for providers by demonstrating accountability and ownership in resolving issues, ensuring that their concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner. Provide exceptional customer service to providers in a multi-channel environment, including calls and concurrent chat, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a courteous and efficient manner.Quickly and appropriately triage contacts from healthcare professionals, understanding their needs and providing timely resolutions to their inquiries, and escalating complex issues to internal partners as necessary. Research and dissect complex prior authorization and claim issues, collaborating with multiple internal partners to ensure effective communication and resolution, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and prevent repeat issues. Navigate over 30 systems to extract necessary information across various lines of business, utilizing strong multitasking skills to efficiently and effectively resolve issues and avoid delays.Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, promoting faster resolutions and enhancing their experience with our services, and providing guidance and support to aid in navigation and troubleshooting. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience, demonstrating a foundation in basic skills and knowledge. 1+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of analyzing and solving customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner.Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications, with a strong foundation in technical skills. Ability to type at a speed of greater than or equal to 35-40+ WPM with an accuracy of 90%, demonstrating strong keyboarding skills and attention to detail. Must be 18 years of age or older, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional results. Ability to work any full-time (40 hours/week), 8-hour shift between the hours of 10:35 AM - 7:05 PM CST from Monday - Friday, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.Preferred Qualifications Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology, demonstrating a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and its complexities. Experience in a related environment (i.e., office, call center, customer service, etc.), using phones and computers as the primary job tools, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
