Job SummaryAs a Lead Data Scientist in our Ads Data Solutions Research team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue through data-driven insights and modeling. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Analytics, Finance, Business Operations, Commerce Product, and Engineering, to develop and enhance models that tackle complex challenges such as revenue, inventory, delivery, outcome, pricing, and more.If you have a proven track record of concept management, a deep analytical and modeling expertise, and a passion for driving impact, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities* Design, build, and enhance data models to drive business impact* Collaborate with engineering teams to produce models and drive experimentation to test the effect of models on total optimization* Develop deep insights on audience, brand, and ad operational data systems and metrics* Mine large data sets to identify opportunities for marketing and revenue growth, viewer ad experience, and subscriber acquisition and retention* Visualize complex data sets through prototype solutions, mathematical models, algorithms, and strong analytics to communicate actionable insights clearly and visually* Partner closely with business stakeholders to identify and unlock opportunities, and with other data teams to enhance platform capabilities around data modeling, data visualization, experimentation, and data architectureEssential Qualifications* Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Statistics)* 7+ years of experience designing, building, and comparing realistic systems knowledge solutions* 7+ years of experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, Spark, PySpark) and database languages (e.g., SQL)Nice-to-Haves* Doctorate's degree in a quantitative field* Excellent analytical skills, superior level of data knowledge* Strong expertise with Python and libraries such as sci-kit-learn, SciPy* Familiarity with Bayesian modeling and probabilistic programming applications such as PyMC* Familiarity with data structures and programs such as Databricks, Jupyter, Snowflake, Airflow, Github* Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker* Familiarity with designing and reading A/B testing and other test types* Demonstrated skills in choosing the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem* Ability to adapt quickly in fast-changing environments with shifting priorities* Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical audiences* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner, including large and complex ones* Demonstrated management experience, including people and project managementWhat We Offer* Competitive salary range of $25-45/hour* Opportunity to work with a global leader in the entertainment and media industry* Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a talented team of professionals* Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off* Professional development opportunities, including training and education programs* Flexible work arrangements, including remote work optionsIf you are a motivated and experienced data scientist looking for a new challenge, please including your resume and a cover letter, to.We look forward to hearing from you!
