Key Responsibilities As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with assigned travel agency accounts to promote and sell blithequark products and services. * Identifying new business opportunities to support company objectives and drive sales growth. * Conducting sales calls with key agency contacts to deliver product and service updates, discuss sales opportunities, and review account performance. * Proposing and executing partnership agreements that drive mutual benefit and revenue growth for blithequark and our agency partners. * Developing and executing strategic business development plans, including marketing and co-op advertising plans, to drive sales growth and account engagement. * Evaluating client business needs, assessing account performance, and developing strategic proposals to drive growth and achieve sales objectives. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: * Two years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in sales or business development. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders. * Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software applications. * Strong numerical ability, with the ability to manage financial transactions and analyze sales data. * Consistently prioritizes the safety and security of self, others, and personal data. * Embraces diverse individuals, thinking, and styles, and is committed to creating an inclusive work environment. * High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred. * Must be at least 18 years old and have authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial: * Knowledge of blithequark programs, policies, procedures, and reservation systems. * Skilled at defining problems, gathering data, establishing facts, and reaching sound conclusions in a timely and accurate manner. * Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with management, staff, and clients.
