Job Summary As a Network Protection Examiner Understudy, you will play a critical role in identifying, mitigating, and recovering from digital threats. You will work closely with experts to analyze incidents, develop quick response plans, and enhance security measures. This part-time position will provide you with valuable skills in emergency management, threat assessment, and collaboration, setting you up for a successful career in network security. Responsibilities and Expectations The Network Protection Examiner Understudy will be responsible for: * Collaborating with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to develop high-quality technical solutions * Ensuring solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business processes, and departmental standards * Managing timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget * Serving as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and IT teams * Participating in system and acceptance testing * Extent of work may vary depending on the project team Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required * Basic knowledge of data security and threat mitigation standards, theories, and practices * Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm preferred * Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Risk and Compliance (GRC) preferred * Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement * Major understanding of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program * Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Basic knowledge of technical environment required * Openness to Agile philosophies preferred * Coursework or experience related to Network Security preferred * Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines * Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year preferred * Experience resolving business issues in a capstone or case competition preferred * Ability to thrive in a culture that is open, direct, conscious, gracious, and empathetic * Fast learner, self-motivated, team-oriented, with a sense of humor What We Offer As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will enjoy: * Competitive hourly rate of $25/hour * Flexible part-time schedule with 8 hours of work per week * Opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and innovative organization * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for cybersecurity and network protection, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
