The Freight Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the efficient movement and handling of freight within our logistics operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining DHL's commitment to excellence in logistics and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Freight Logistics Coordinator at DHL, your key responsibilities will include:• Operating powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products as required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations. • Loading products onto equipment, pallets, or totes, prioritizing accuracy and efficiency to meet customer demands. • Organizing and retrieving products for shipment or storage, adhering to customer orders and specifications to ensure precise outgoing shipments.• Scrutinizing product quality, labeling, and quantities against customer orders to ensure precise outgoing shipments and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. • Monitoring and replacing equipment batteries or LP tanks, overseeing power supply as needed for continuous operations and minimizing downtime. • Identifying and documenting discrepancies such as unavailable products or overages, managing OS&D (Over, Short, and Damaged) items accordingly to maintain inventory accuracy. • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the facility and equipment, conducting daily inspections to uphold safety and operational standards and ensuring a safe working environment.• Supporting physical inventory processes, participating in cycle counts and audits as required to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
