Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Gathering reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients in a timely and efficient manner. Scanning through information to identify pertinent details, correcting errors, and organizing the information to optimize swift and accurate data capturing.Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering and updating information into relevant databases with precision and speed. Ensuring data is backed up regularly and informing relevant parties regarding any errors encountered or discrepancies found. Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval and handling additional duties as assigned from time to time. Liaising with and following up with employees within blithequark as well as with customers to collect information, providing excellent customer service and support.Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent qualification. At least 1+ years of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or a related area. A good command of English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software applications quickly. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.Proficient touch typing skills, with high accuracy and speed. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual team environment. Familiarity with data management software and databases. Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting principles. Certification in data entry, administration, or a related field.
