As a Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our trade, transfer, and reconciliation processes. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:* Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identifying/ addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and the fund companies or transfer agents* Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity* Executing analysis of complex/escalated issues, testing/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications* Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly influence the Client/Advisor profile* Engaging with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce* Interacting with and embodying blithequark's values in daily connections with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partnersDuties AnalysisYour duties will include:* Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests* Identifying and addressing client/Advisor amount exceptions* Ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)* Reconciling Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks* Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies* Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding* Troubleshooting internal/external system improvements or concerns* Identifying the root cause of breaks between blithequark, the Fund, etc.* Providing method or innovation service alternatives to Management* Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm* Providing follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues* Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demandsEssential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred* 1-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Proficiency in bolthires Office and Salesforce* Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsWhile not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:* Experience in the financial industry or a related field* Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards* Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools* Certification in data entry or a related fieldSkills and CompetenciesTo succeed in this role, you will need to possess:* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Proficiency in bolthires Office and Salesforce* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Strong time management and prioritization skills* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlinesCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.As a Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments Specialist, you will have access to:* Ongoing training and development opportunities* Mentorship and coaching from experienced professionals* Opportunities for advancement and career growth* A dynamic and supportive work environment* A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time offWork Environment and Company Cultureblithequark is a remote-friendly company that values flexibility and work-life balance.Our team is dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth, learning, and collaboration.
