You will be part of a crew that innovates and pushes the boundaries of what is possible with data.Key Responsibilities Collaborate with source data software groups and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that provide insights for informed decision-making Implement data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services, such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and traditional data warehouse tools Perform multiple components involved in the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering, ingestion, preparation, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, consumption, BI, and alerting Provide technical support and collaborate within a team environment, as well as work independently Be part of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports their product Implement batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies Develop coding standards, best practices, and privacy and security guidelines Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training At least 1 year of software solution development experience using agile, DevOps, and working in a product model that includes designing, developing, and implementing large-scale programs or data engineering solutions At least 1 year of data analytics experience using SQL At least 1 year of cloud development and data lake experience (preferably bolthires Azure), including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI Combination of development, administration, and support experience in various tools and frameworks, including scripting languages like Python, Spark, and Unix, and data platforms like Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake, and Azure Data Explorer Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: 2 years of software solution development experience using agile, DevOps, and working in a product model that includes designing, developing, and implementing large-scale programs or data engineering solutions 3 years of data analytics experience using SQL 2 years of full-stack development experience, preferably in Azure 2 years of cloud development and data lake experience (preferably bolthires Azure), including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, ADX, ASA, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI Airline industry experience Skills, Licenses, and CertificationsThe following skills and certifications are desirable: Experience with the Azure Technology stack for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing, curation, and developing consumption layers Working knowledge of providing sensible guidance in Azure Native cloud services Spark Certification (preferred) Azure Development Track Certification (preferred)Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.We offer a range of training programs, mentorship opportunities, and education assistance to help you achieve your professional goals.
