Key Responsibilities Design and implement data pipelines to support the development of new battery technologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and analysis teams, to drive data-driven insights and inform decision-making Develop and maintain large-scale datasets and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders Work with system teams, including DBA and IT, to ensure the proper functioning of all data pipelines and the stability of the data warehouse Develop and maintain data sources, including views, projections, and stored procedures, to support reporting and analytics Support reporting engineers by writing high-performance, low-bolthires SQL queries, providing easy-to-use datasets as Tableau extracts and database views, and conducting code reviews Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience Deep knowledge of database design and architecture, including experience with relational and columnar databases (DML, DDL, projections, views, stored procedures) Strong proficiency with query optimization and writing efficient, low-bolthires SQL statements Experience with data pipeline development (ETL, ELT) and data warehousing Strong proficiency with at least one programming language (Python and/or Java preferred) Experience working with large datasets and distributed databases (Snowflake, GCP, AWS) preferred Experience with stream processing and messaging queues (Kafka, AMQP) preferred Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field Experience with cloud-based data platforms and distributed databases Experience with data science and machine learning algorithms Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git, SVN)Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.As a Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop new skills and expertise.
