As a key member of our CBD Member Services team, you will report to the Member Services Supervisor and be responsible for providing high-quality, customer-focused telephonic service. Your primary objective will be to deliver exceptional support, education, and direction to our customers, ensuring they can navigate our online tools and systems with ease.Accountable for providing high-quality, customer-focused telephonic service, utilizing knowledge of procedures and systems to meet and/or exceed member satisfaction while educating constituents on blithequark's policies and programs. Consult with members to support easy navigation of available online tools, from checking account balances to submitting claims, and provide valuable insights to enhance their experience. Responsible for resolving issues without management intervention, removing barriers for members, and ensuring seamless interactions.Initial call skills are required after training, with potential cross-training to other skills at a later date. Accountable for protecting sensitive member information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality. Responsible for all levels of member engagement, prioritizing effectively to meet member service goals and deadlines. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment and RequirementsThis role requires a quiet, distraction-free work environment without conflicting responsibilities during scheduled shifts.You must have a reliable internet connection with the following specifications: Upload Speed: >20 Mbps Download Speed: >100 Mbps Ability to hardwire an Ethernet cable to the internet modem/router. Training and Development At blithequark, we are committed to your growth and success. Our comprehensive training program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this role. The training class is scheduled to start on 02/03/2025, and attendance is mandatory during the training period.You can expect: A paid training period of approximately four to five weeks, with PTO accrual (although PTO cannot be taken during the training period). A product exam at the end of training, requiring a passing score of 85% to continue in the position. Training schedules will be provided in Eastern Time (ET), with adjustments for other time zones, including Pacific Time, Mountain Time, and Central Time. Regular Schedule and Shifts After completing the training period, you will be assigned a regular schedule, which may include: 11:30 a.m.ET to 8 p.m. ET (subject to change due to business needs). Some Saturdays from 10 a.m. ET to 3 p.m. ET (subject to change due to business needs). Preferred Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you should possess: 1-3 years of experience in Customer Service, with prior call center experience preferred. No degree is required, but a strong foundation in customer service principles is essential. Computer knowledge and skills, with the ability to learn new systems and adapt to a fast-paced environment.Basic understanding of medical/reimbursement terminology is preferred, but not required. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to de-escalate and handle member issues without supervisor intervention. Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical skills are also necessary for success in this role. Other Requirements In addition to the above qualifications, you should be able to: Work in a seated position for prolonged periods, with occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds.Adapt to a fast-paced environment and work overtime as needed.
