About the Role As a Language of Destination (LOD) Customer Service Agent, you will play a critical role in demonstrating blithequark's commitment to our customers by making their travel experience as smooth and pleasant as possible. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, guiding and assisting them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process, as well as providing exceptional customer service and support throughout their journey. Your ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish will be essential in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service, and your passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences will make you a valuable asset to our team. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and guide them through the ticketing and baggage check-in process, ensuring that they have a seamless and enjoyable experience Use a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage the check-in process and ensure that customers have the proper travel documentation Tag baggage and perform lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures, ensuring the well-being of our customers and colleagues Assist customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding, providing personalized support and guidance to ensure that they reach their destination with ease Use computers to assist customers with seat availability, make gate announcements, and manage the boarding process, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all procedures are followed Operate jet ways and aircraft doors, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of customers and aircraft Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive continuous improvement About You To be successful in this role, you will need to be fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to pass a standardized language assessment. You will also need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and have authorization to work in the United States. Additionally, you will need to have strong verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift bags or items weighing up to 50 pounds. Your passion for delivering exceptional customer service, combined with your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
