Key Responsibilities As an experienced Astrology Chat Operator, you'll be responsible for: * Providing astrologically and grammatically correct written responses to clients' questions in English * Giving engaging and informative readings to clients purchasing live video calls in English * Preparing video and voice messages for clients in response to their questions * Adhering to all ethical rules and company standards when providing readings * Meeting targets in relation to response times and message volumes as directed by management * Performing additional duties and contributing to ad-hoc projects as required by the Chat Ops Team * Assigning incoming messages to the Chat Ops team and providing cover for other team members to ensure response times and standards are maintained over weekends Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Excellent standard of spoken and written English * Previous experience of giving personalized astrology, palmistry, or tarot readings in a professional capacity (advantageous) * Strong computer skills and a reliable internet connection * Access to a quiet and calm space where you can conduct live video calls without interruption * Empathic, non-judgmental, and compassionate character with the ability to establish a rapport with clients quickly * Ability to work on own initiative and without close supervision * Accurate typing skills and the ability to condense information into short, engaging, and informative responses that capture clients' interest and leave them wanting to know more Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered an asset: * Experience in creating and reading natal and transit birth charts * Familiarity with all aspects of astrology and comfort in giving predictive readings * Experience in palmistry and confidence in answering questions based on the lines and markings of the palm * Ability to read tarot cards and give readings based on various card spreads * Keenness to learn new skills and expand knowledge in areas such as numerology, synastry, dream interpretation, and other divination techniques Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and ever-changing environment * Strong typing skills and ability to work efficiently on a computer Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
