Data Analyst - Temporary
Job Description: • Reporting to the VP of Product, the Data Analyst will help Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) make informed, data-driven decisions. • Analyze emergency call data to identify patterns and trends. • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call handling times and resolution rates. • Utilize business intelligence tools to gather, analyze, and present data. • Work closely with PSAP teams to understand their operational challenges and data needs. • Prepare reports and presentations that summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations. • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analyses and reports. • Assist in strategic decision-making by providing data-driven insights. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within the public safety sector or with emergency call data. • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel. • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. • Strong skills in business intelligence tools and techniques. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
