Claims Processing Manager
JOB SUMMARY: The Claims Processing Manager develops growth across the department through new hire training, mentoring, QA audits, live call monitoring and coaching. As the Claims Processing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the claims processing department, ensuring optimum efficiency and effectiveness of our claims processes surrounding claims adjudication with targeted focus on the payment process, as well as monitoring and assisting claims processors with more complex claims as needed. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensures timely and proper disposition of claims in accordance with coverage amounts and provides guidance on more complex or high-value claims. • Trains staff on organizational policies and ensures procedures are always followed. • Review audits received from claims department and review with claims processors. • Oversee the senior processor in handling vendor payments. • Create and review excel spreadsheets and other documentation related to claims. • Review and resolve escalated issues with claims payments and other issues as they arise. • Help identify qualified candidates for the claims invoice processor role through live interviews. • Provides day-to-day performance management, call reviews and development for new hires and existing team members. (e.g., coaching, training, mentoring, disciplinary actions). • Collaborate horizontally and vertically across the organization to develop tactical and strategic initiatives. • Conduct business and/or processor reviews using CRM programs. QUALIFICATIONS: • 3-5 Years of management experience (virtual management is plus). • 3-5 years of development and training. • 3-5 years of demonstrated success and customer satisfaction, leadership in a telecommunication environment. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills with an ability to work under pressure. • Performs effectively and independently in a multitasking environment. • Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications and adobe. • High attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to organize delegate and schedule workload effectively. • Excellent communications skills both internal and external with the ability to efficiently present information in a 1:1 and or group situation. The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background check.
