Role and Responsibilities : As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for management of the entire restaurant's operations, working directly with the General Manager as the store's second in command. You will provide direction, training, and expertise to ensure customer expectations are exceeded while overseeing operations and developing team members. Key responsibilities include: Train, develop, and mentor staff to build a high-performing team. Create a warm, welcoming work and dining environment for team members and guests. Monitor and reinforce food safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations. Maximize store sales and profit goals through effective operations management. Maintain QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) standards throughout the restaurant. Ensure protection of Wendy's brand and assets. Demonstrate drive for results and go above and beyond to serve guests. Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures of the company. Conduct product and supply inventory counting and recording. Schedule work shifts for team members to ensure appropriate staffing levels. Ensure all company policies regarding proper food handling and preparation are enforced throughout the restaurant. Manage food, labor, and paper costs and other controllable expenses. Work with restaurant management team to meet profit objectives. Provide excellent problem-solving and decision-making with a customer focus. Travel to other restaurants, area office, bank, and meetings as needed. Required Skills and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent and possess all documents required by state and federal law. Minimum of two (2) years Shift Supervisor or one year Assistant Manager experience required in the restaurant industry (preferred in high volume QSR and/or fast casual concepts). Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. Valid driver's license in good standing and access to private transportation required. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Working knowledge of cost of goods sales. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Results-oriented and customer-focused approach. Ability to come to work promptly and as scheduled. Ability to take direction and work well with others. Ability to complete all applicable training programs. Preferred Qualifications : Previous restaurant management experience in high-volume QSR environments. Strong PC skills are beneficial.
